IQRA jilid 4 murid dilatih secara berulang ulang untuk membaca dan menulis aksara legana dengan panyigeg dan sandhangan, wyanjana lan pasangan legana lan adeg-adeg. untuk menuliskan 33 bunyi konsonan yang digunakan dalam bahasa Sanskerta dan Kawi. Aksara Jawa ini dihadirkan dalam bentuk suku kata terbuka (a) atau disebut juga aksara wuda (telanjang).
